The Book Café in the Quarter is the second Book Café to be opened in Derby city. It is in a prominent spot opposite Primark. This café is larger than the other one which is located in the Westfield Shopping Centre which is just as well as they are growing in popularity.
They offer a good selection of soup, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and cakes and desserts. The fact that there are books and gifts on sale in the café just makes it even more attractive.

This is a great place to meet your friends, as you can browse the quirky little shop whilst waiting for them to arrive.
The food is great and there is an extensive menu, although the salad bar is a bit unoriginal and I was disappointed. The coffee is very good and they also do a nice hot chocolate.
