A night at Derby Theatre to see the famous Shakespearean play The Taming of the Shrew.
Description: It is 1850, and the young, newly-married Queen Victoria sits on the throne of England. Another spirited young woman, Katherina, remains unmarried. Her wild and wilful ways are far from acceptable in Victorian society.
Enter Petruchio, middle-aged, handsome, but bankrupt. Seeing a way to restore his fortune, he quickly snares Katherina as his wife. But what follows is not wedded bliss, but the systematic and brutal crushing of her spirit.
How to book on the event

Arrival
Once you arrive at the Derby Theatre Tara the Club Manager will be there to meet you. She will be wearing a Ladies Night Out Club ID badge you can also see a photo of Tara on the about us page.
