About this Event

Calling all pie lovers, celebrating the pie at the Twenty Four restaurant. As the weather starts to turn what a better way to warm up than enjoying some amazing pies created by the chefs at the Lion Hotel in Belper.

This event is hosted by Tara the Club Manager who will

  • get in touch with you before to confirm the meeting arrangements.

How to book on the event
To book on this event click the 'Add to Bag' button which will add the event to your shopping bag and then click on 'Checkout' in your shopping bag. Once you have completed the checkout process you will receive an email confirmation.

How do I find the group at the venue?
Tara will be at the venue early and to help you find the group Tara will be wearing a Ladies Night Out Club T-shirt or ID badge. You can also see a photo of Tara on the about us page you can also contact her on 07904 958921 before the event and/or on the evening in case you can't find the group

There was no pie! In fact, the staff clearly thought we were completely mad for thinking there was a pie night at all. Apparently they should check their own website which does say there was. I don't think they believed us though...

The meals we had instead were ok. There seemed to be some variation in quality across the group and not all of us were totally happy with our food.

For me: As ever, the company was great, but the lack of pie was annoying, the food I had was not good enough to make up for the lack of pie, and the service was fairly lacklustre.

There was no pie night! In fact it was quite awkward as one by one we arrived expecting pie! Even though it was still being advertised on the Twentyfour website, the staff had no idea about it and were not particularly helpful. We did eat in the restaurant, great company but unremarkable surroundings and mediocre food.
I would be unlikely to return to the Lion hotel in a hurry.
