Try out one of the latest beauty therapy techniques with the club. Appy Feet part of a chain of spa shops offer the increasingly popular fish pedicure within the Westfield Shopping Centre. So get your feet looking in top condition and try out the treatment that everyone is talking about.
The treatment will cost £10 for 15 minutes or £20 for 30 minutes the cost is payable on the day.
About the treatment: The Garra Rufa fish, known for their therapeutic properties, originally come from the warm waters of Turkey. These toothless fish are recognised for their numerous healing benefits and effectiveness in exfoliating, cleansing, massaging and softening of the skin. The fish stimulate acupuncture points, helping to regulate the nervous system and relax the body. During this they release an enzyme known as Dithranol, which helps to soothe and aide a variety of skin disorders, such as, psoriasis and eczema.

How to book on the event

How do I find the group at the venue?
Tara will be at the venue early and to help you find the group Tara will be wearing a Ladies Night Out Club ID badge. You can also see a photo of Tara on the about us page. Tara will let you know her mobile phone after you have booked so you can get in touch with her when you arrive.

I really enjoyed this event. My feet were soaked in a foot spa then I had to lower my feet into a tank of rather big looking fish. It tickled a lot at first but then it became a pleasant pins and needles sensation. Although, everytime they nibbled at the arch of my feet I gave a few squeals... Will definately be doing this again. My feet are soft and feel quite relaxed. Saying that, I think that shop would do a lot better if they offered something similar to the place in Leicester: green tea whilst you're having your feet nibbled and maybe pedicures for a little extra.
The lunch at The Original Olive with the Ladies afterwards was really nice too.

This was such fun! Incredibly weird at first, but you get used to it, and the it is fascinating. It seems to work too, as my feet are definitely softer! I don't know why my right foot was so much more appealing to the fish than my left, but it definitely was...I definitely plan to go again! At first I thought 15 minutes would be quite long enough, but when it ended I was sorry we hadn't gone for the longer session. Lunch afterward was really good too! :)
