About Center Parcs
Center Parcs is a place that people return to again and again. It is not just the activities that are on offer that attracts the crowds but the atmosphere and the setting. The parc is set in 400 acres of beautiful forest with lakes and streams and is very close to Sherwood Pines activity centre.
There are 100s of activities on offer and you can try anything from abseiling to cheer-leading or canoeing to belly dancing and you can do as much or as little as you want. There are restaurants and bars on site and a wonderful spa that offers a wide range of treatments and spa sessions.
Where possible we will be arranging for people to car share in order to make it cheaper for everyone. Please indicate when you are booking your place whether you would be happy to drive or would prefer to get a lift.

I have just come back from Center Parcs with the ladies from the club. This is the second year that I have attended and did not think that it could get any better but it was (except for the England game!) A few of us met up early on the Friday to start the weekend by attending Aqua Sana the spa for a 3 hours session and although it is not the most reasonable priced activity I felt it was worth the money and a great way to start the weekend. The first night once everyone had arrived we all caught up with each other as some of us had not seen each other for a while and also we spent time introducing ourselves to newer members. I then took up chef duties and cooked up a BBQ which everyone seemed to enjoy. Some of the girls had brought along board games and we had great fun competing in teams.
On the Saturday we all split up to go off and experience some of the wide range of activities that CP has. The good thing about the weekend is there is something for everyone. Between us we tried:
Watercolour painting
Falconry
Crossbows
Pilates
Line dancing
cycling
Tai Chi
Windsurfing
On the Saturday night we all came together for a meal at Cafe Rouge which was great and topped off with a loud and not so tuneful Happy Birthday for Rach and Liesl! Needless to say I do not thing any of us will be trying out for X Factor in a hurry.
Sunday was a highlight for me as we attend the Jazz brunch where we had a huge buffet of hot and cold food, whilst reading Sunday papers and listening to a jazz band. They even came over to play some songs especially for us!
All in all the weekend was great and I really look forward to going again next year!!!

After last year I wondered if Center Parcs 2010 could live up to expectations but this was every bit as good as 2009. Great company, great activities and an even better villa! See my blog for more info on want we got up to!

Had a great weekend - loads of activities to choose from, good accommodation and most important all the girls were really friendly. Good mix of doing your own thing and doing things together.
