It has been a while since I have posted a blog but I have been so busy with all of the events that we have organised that this is the first chance I have had to sit down and catch up with everything.

Ladies Night out Club - February and March ReviewWhere to start? February was a good month with record turn outs for all of our events. I especially enjoyed watching Shopaholic at the cinema and as I've read all of the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella I was relieved that the film was just as funny! Isla Fisher is a great comedic actress and deserves a round of applause for pulling off the crazy dance moves for one of the scenes in the movie.

At the end of February a small group of us went to see the fantastic Cirque de Glace. The show was amazing and definitely went beyond my expectations. It was nice to see such a great performance being held at the Assembly Rooms.

It was a good start to March with the Afternoon Tea event that I and the ladies from the club attended at the Cathedral Quarter Hotel in Derby city. We got a fabulous range of sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream.

We had our Afternoon Tea in a very plush lounge bar and I definitelyLadies Night out Club - February and March Review felt like a ‘lady that lunches’ on that Saturday afternoon. Also the cost was a treat as well and it worked out a similar price to what we would have paid in a standard coffee shop.

I also went along to the Ladies Pamper evening in Allestree village hall on Saturday 21 March and it was nice to meet and talk to a lot of the ladies that were there on the evening. Dawn was also with me and went along to promote the Wellbeing evening the following week.

Near the end of March Tam and I also got the first opportunity this year to go away for the weekend to Cambridge which was a great treat for both of us. The weather was turned out fine and we went to a few museums and just took the opportunity to relax. It was really great for us to spend some time away and enjoy each others company. I would definitely recommend Cambridge for a weekend away.
