Fashion and Charity

Had a fabulous time with Dina and Jacqui at the Midsummer Madness Fashion show on a very sunny 24th June. I particularly enjoyed the tips on dressing for your figure.

The event raised £600 which can be converted into £3,000 to help people in need in Leicester. I will be looking to organise a personal shopping event soon.

I will also be catching up with the Marketing & Fund-raising Director for Leicester Charity Link to see how the Ladies Night Out Club could help raise more funds for this worthwhile work. www.charity-link.org Any ideas gratefully received!

Bar Sixteen in the Cathedral Quarter Hotel is a haven from a world of fast, pre-mixed, artificial tasting drinks. The bar is plush and comfortable and is perfect for a girls night out drinking their fabulous cocktails.

Hello all you lovely ladies out there. My name is Danielle, I am 29, moved to Derby in August last year leaving my social life and close friends behind:-( Very difficult when working shifts, moving somewhere new and starting a new career in a new place. All of my new work collegues are wonderful but live in Nottingham. I will be honest and say I am finding it difficult to have a social life in Derby. I am very nervous about signing up, I have written this post and deleted it several times. However I can now breath the hard part is over.

Hi all, I'm Colina - recently moved to beautiful derby having married a wonderful man. I work near Mansfield and haven't had the time until now to make some new friends. I'm just 32, love food, wine, gossip, travel - I'd love to say the gym but I'd be telling porkies! Would like to meet other ladies in a similar situations.
