Center Parcs

I have now finished all of my unpacking and washing from a fabulous weekend at Center Parcs! For those of you wondering what you missed...
Friday we had a BBQ with Carolyn demonstrating her chef skills for the the second year running and Demelza introduced us to Articulate - a fabulous board game. Saturday some of us tried out crossbows and I discovered I am not too bad a shot! Some of us also tried line dancing- yee ha!
Saturday night we had a lovely meal at Cafe Rouge celebrating Rach and Liesl's birthdays. On Sunday we had a chilled out time at the jazz brunch and then I got a bit adventurous by trying a windsurfing class. Maybe I should say swimming class because of how long much time I spent falling in the lake! Going forwards and getting the sail up were fine, it was turning where I had problems which is a disadvantage when you are heading towards the trees!
Sunday was also the day that Gay beat my crossbow score rather convincingly! We won't mention the football! Monday I had time for a quick manicure before heading home. The blackboard in the luxury villa was an enhancement and I enjoyed adding to the topics of "Tips of the Day" and "Essential Experiences for a Complete Life" There are already some pics on the Facebook group.
All in all it was every bit as good as last year! Roll on Center Parcs 2011 and keep a look out for news of the LNOC weekend away this Autumn. I know Tara is investigating venues as I write!
