Leicester Comedy Festival 2011

My first blog of 2011! A new year, full of possibilities!

One possibility is having a giggle by attending one of the events at Leicester Comedy Festival The Leicester Comedy Festival started in 1994 with 40 events programmed into 23 venues over 7 days throughout Leicestershire.
What are Member Points?

Member Points are given to members for:
- Adding a comment to an event: 2 points
- Reviewing an event or location: 5 points
- Attending an event: 5 points
- Suggesting an event (and it being accepted): 25 points
- Hosting an event: 25 points
- Inviting a friend to join the website*: 5 points
- When your friend joins the website*: 5 points
*To earn Member Points for sending out an invite email to a friend to join the Ladies Night Out Club website you must use the Invite a Friend form. Member Points will be given when a friend successfully joins the website by clicking on the joining link contained within the invite email. Only Premium Members can invite friends using the Invite a Friend form.

Competitions
As everyone knows points mean prizes and so the member with the most points wins our member points competition. Even though points can be earned by any member you have to be a Premium member to win the competition.

How you can spend your points
When your Premium membership is due for renewal you will also be able to trade in your points to claim money off your membership. Every point you earn is equivalent to 1p. So for example, if you have collected 500 points and you are due to renew your Premium membership you would be able to claim £5 off the cost.
New Year New You season in Leicester!

Sometimes the start of a new year is a time to try something new! Being a girlie sometimes I like to revamp my clothes or make up, give myself some pampering or try a new shop or restaurant. With this in mind I have decided on a series of themed New Year New You events for the early months of 2011. Look out for the suffix - NYNY after the event title to show a themed event.

The 2 flagship NYNY events (which frankly I think are absolute bargains!) are;

An amazing FREE personal shopping and styling advice event at Debenhams on Saturday 8th January.

Had a fabulous time with Dina and Jacqui at the Midsummer Madness Fashion show on a very sunny 24th June. I particularly enjoyed the tips on dressing for your figure.

Leicester launch event

Wow what a great night we all had at Almanacks in Leicester on Thursday night. It was great to meet so many ladies from Leicester and I know that the existing members who were there also enjoyed the free champagne that was available.

Join the girls for a few laughs and drinks mid week at this monthly comedy night at Vie lounge and piano bar. The show starts at 8.30pm but if you arrive at 7pm you can join the rest of the ladies for something to eat before the show.
Ladies Night at the Black Rock Grill

Once a month we visit one of the many restaurants in Derby. For June we will be going to the Black Rock Grill on Sadlergate. Every Thursday evening is Ladies Night at Black Rock where you can have two courses for £14.95 or three courses for £17.95. Take a look at the ladies night menu.

Hi there I just wanted to say what a lovely time I had with Tara and Jenna at the Bluebells Spondon. It was a very relaxed afternoon with lovely chat and great food. Goodluck Tara for the new arrival at the end of the month. As soon as I get paid I am going to subscribe.
